OPM to shut down free school in Jos over refusal of children to attend

The General-Overseer of the Rivers State-based Omega Power Ministries, Apostle Gift Chibuzor Chinyere says he is contemplating shutting down his free school in Jos, the Plateau state capital over the refusal of children to attend classes.

Lamenting on the development on his verified Facebook page, he said it was frustrating paying teachers with very few students.

He wrote: “May be forced to close down OPM Free school in JOS. I don’t understand why children in North have just refused to school upon OPM is giving it free.
Very frustrating to be paying teachers with very few students. Am not happy at all. May close it if No improvement of student attendance”.
