Three feared dead as gunmen attack police station in Delta

At least three police officers were killed by unknown gunmen during an attack on Nsukwa Police Divisional Headquarters, Aniocha South LGA of Delta State.

It was gathered that the attack, which occurred around 1.00 am, forcing residents of the community to flee to neighbouring communities.

Those killed during the attack include an Inspector, sergeant and a Corporal. Parts of the station also collapsed following the attack.

Delta Police Commissioner, Ari Ali, when contacted said all enquiries should be sent to the police public relations officer”.

But Bright Edafe, the public relations officer of the command declined to comment on the matter. n
