Unknown gunmen have reportedly killed the son of Ovie of Orhuwhorun community and police escorts attached to him.
They were attacked on Saturday, along Effurun road in Uvwie, Delta state.
The attack has been confirmed by the Police Public Relations Office, Delta State Command, CSP Edafe Bright, who stated that the son of the monarch and police escorts attached to him were killed.
He also stated that the police have launched investigations to determine what led to the attack .
The killing of the trio have caused an unrest in Orhuwhorun community as youths took to the streets to protest.
