An tricycle operator was on Friday morning crushed to death bt a truck which ran over him.
The incident which occurred in front of the Slaughter Market at Eliozu axis of the East West Road, Obio-akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State left buyers and sellers at the popular market speechless.
An eyewitness told theportcitynews that the deceased was about crossing the busy express road when he was crushed to death.
He was said to have died instantly.
However, tension heightened when the truck driver attempted to flee the scene by was arrested by traders at the market who nearly lynched him.
