Aguma emerges as Rivers APC chairman

Chief Igo Aguma has emerged the new Caretaker Committee chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State.

Just George Omereji of the Rivers State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt dissolved the Caretaker Committee set up by the national chairman of the Party, Adams Oshiomole.

The Court further declared Igo Aguma, a former member representing Port Harcourt at the House of Representatives the new Caretaker Committee Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State.

Aguma had approached the court, pleading with the court to declare the five-man caretaker Committee constituted by the national leadership of the party illegal, stop the party’s Congresses and also declare him the leader of the party among others.
