The Acting Executive Director of Finance and Administration of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Mr Ibanga Etang has reportedly died.
Ibanga died at about 2 am on Thursday night at the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital, Port Harcourt after a brief illness.
A source from the commission told theportcitynews that Enang died from a heart attack but others claim he died of suspected covid-19 complications.
Etang, a former Chairman of Esit Eket Local Government, on April 9 2018, resigned as Special Assistant to Governor Emmanuel Udom on Projects and formally registered with the APC at his Etebi Ward 7, along with over 300 followers on April 10.
Etang was appointed by President Buhari on February 19 as part of a five-member interim management committee of the commission led by Professor Kemebradikumo Daniel Pondei, who is the Ag. Managing Director.
