Breaking: Supreme Court upholds Wike’s appeals against Appeal Court’s decision


The Supreme Court has upheld Governor Nyesom Wike’s appeals against the decisions of the Court of Appeal.

The appeals were against the decisions of the Court of Appeal, reversing two decisions of the Rivers State Governorship Election Tribunal.

In two unanimous judgments, a seven-man panel of the apex court in a ruling delivered by Justice Ejembi Eko upheld the two appeals by Wike marked: SC/1111/2019 and SC/1112/2019 on the grounds that they were meritorious.
