Pastor rehabilitates, baptizes prostitutes in Port Harcourt

The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, has embarked on the rehabilitation of sex workers in Port Harcourt.

Over the week, a total of 38 repentant sex workers were rehabilitated and baptised in Port Harcourt streets which they made their home selling sex.

The pastor said that the church is determined to clear the streets of Port Harcourt, of the ugly menace of sex slavery and prostitution, who he said would be rehabilitated and brought to Christ.

The pastor said that those who would accept to give up the trade will be rehabilitated and will be giving free accommodation, free clothing, feeding and provision of shops, stocked with wares and commodities to assist the new converts to begin a new life as enormous.

They were also re-christened by the G.O as the daughters of Doctor Jesus.

Some of them who spoke to reporters on the conditions of anonymity and in a burst of tears said their baptism have signalled a turning point in their lives, a new beginning and a total commitment to serving God with the whole of their lives.
