A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Dumo Lulu-Briggs, has purchased his expression of interest form for the 2019 Rivers State gubernatorial primaries.
Lulu-Briggs, a member of the Ojukaye flag-Amachree-led executive, said he followed the directives of God to pursue his age-long dream of serving his people as governor.
Although, the leader of the party in the state and current minister of transportation, Chibuike Amaechi, has endorsed Tonye Cole for the job, Lulu-Briggs said that he would not step down for anyone, adding that the primaries would determine who becomes the party’s flagbearer.
Other APC aspirants in the race include senator Magnus Abe and Tonye Cole.
