Former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna defeated actress Nkechi Blessing by fourth-round technical knockout in their celebrity boxing bout in Lagos.
The fight took place on Thursday at the Federal Palace Hotel during Balmoral’s Chaos in the Ring event.
Phyna dominated the contest and forced the referee to stop the fight in the fourth round. Organisers immediately declared her the winner.
“After an incredible Independence Day celebration and chaos in the ring, we have our winner for the first-ever female celebrity bout in the history of Chaos in the Ring,” the organiser announced.
The organiser added: “A fourth-round technical knockout, your new champion is Phyna.”
The bout followed weeks of public exchanges between Phyna and Nkechi Blessing. Their rivalry attracted significant attention and increased interest in the event.
Phyna’s victory secured her place in history as the winner of the first female celebrity boxing match held under the Chaos in the Ring banner.
