Executive Chairman of Asari-Toru Local Government Area, Hon. Onengiyeofori George, formally inaugurated a new Caretaker Executive Committee for the Oproama Youth Association on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.
The move is described as part of the administration’s ongoing effort to build stronger youth leadership structures and encourage responsible, inclusive community development in Oproama.
The newly sworn-in committee is headed by Awu Eferebo as Youth President, alongside Hansom Aberenge Horsfall as Vice President, Alaye W. Amana-A as General Secretary, and Precious Iyenemi Dokubo as Assistant General Secretary.
Other executives include Smileba Smile Fyneface (Treasurer), Omona-A Noble Dokubo (Financial Secretary), Dr. Hilary Davies (Director of Information), Obesaki T. K. Fyneface (Public Relations Officer), Ngoba Richard Orubite (Women Leader), Ibifa-A Iyibo Aberenge (Assistant Women Leader), Flagg B. J. Samuel (Chief Security Officer), and Amaibi B. Abbey (Assistant Chief Security Officer). Six Ex-Officio members were also named: Faghabi Second, Tom George, Owukori O. Benibo, Okinari George, Barango I. O. Braide, and Dabo Igbaniabo Frank.
Speaking at the event, Hon. George urged the newly inaugurated committee to lead with unity, mutual respect, and a strong sense of duty, stressing that cooperation and harmony among members would be key to driving forward the collective interests and sustainable development of Oproama’s youth.
