With voting for this week’s Most Influential Player of the Week (MIPOW) still underway, the Show Ya Sef housemates began the day with chores, subtle campaigning and conversations before settling into emotional diary sessions and a series of tasks.
Temi Nkem steps up her MIPOW campaign
After an early workout, the housemates got down to their morning chores.
Bluethopia told Ricky she would love to read one of his novels once they leave the house, while HoH Keivo handled bin duty in the kitchen.
Ricky and Temi Nkem had a brief disagreement over his bed after Temi Nkem had already made it. Ricky insisted on remaking it himself.
Elsewhere, Sheba swept the lounge while Aikou handed his dishwashing duties over to Tram. Tram jokingly complained that he was doing all the work and suggested that the diary room and salon also needed cleaning.
Temi Nkem, meanwhile, made no secret of her MIPOW ambitions. She declined assistance with fetching water, distributed aprons and took over mopping duties from Keivo, seemingly determined to make sure her efforts around the house were noticed.
Housemates discuss immunity
The conversation later turned to immunity and who had benefited most from it during the season.
Tram praised Temi Nkem for making it this far without receiving a save, while Keivo noted that he had earned his third immunity of the week. Ricky revealed that he had received just one.
In the garden, Flora helped Oyin with her hair as Temi Nkem and Tram continued their playful rivalry over the MIPOW race.
Sheba watched the exchange with disbelief as Tram once again appeared to get under Temi Nkem’s skin.
Wager preparations revive old drama
As the housemates prepared for their wager, Keivo mopped the kitchen while Ricky peeled potatoes and sang to himself.
Tram later called everyone together to brief them on their respective wager roles.
Barry playfully teased Oyin and Flora about their outfits, joking that he would show the house what a finalist should look like.
Later, a kitchen conversation involving Tram, Temi Nkem, Barry and Sheba brought up Temi Nkem and Tram’s controversial kiss.
Tram teased Temi Nkem about the kiss and questioned why she had chosen to tell the other housemates about it.
Temi Nkem stood her ground, saying she had never been ashamed of the kiss and felt she needed to clear the air with Keivo.
Temi Nkem and Tram open up in the diary room
At noon, the diary sessions began with Temi Nkem.
She admitted that she was taking her MIPOW campaign seriously and wished she had started earlier in the season.
She also spoke about the disappointment of falling during the HoH challenge, saying she was blindsided by Chimsom Chuka’s eviction but not surprised by Yusuf’s departure.
Temi Nkem became emotional while talking about hearing from her father and reflected on some of her proudest moments in the house, particularly her task victories and her success in the Friday Night Arena games.
She admitted that she still felt somewhat lost in the house and asked Biggie if they could continue the conversation another day.
Tram followed in better spirits, saying seeing his mother on television had lifted his mood.
He said none of the recent evictions had shocked him and suggested that having fewer housemates meant less competition.
Tram identified making it this far and winning HoH as his proudest achievements. He named Aikou as the housemate who had had the biggest impact on him and revealed that the pair had discussed writing a book together after the show.
For Week Nine, Tram said his goal was simple: eat, sleep, hug people and enjoy the remainder of the experience.
Flora reflects on her journey
Keivo later gathered the housemates to announce another task from Biggie, titled “Then Vs. Now.”
The housemates were asked to write their honest impressions of every remaining contestant, as well as reflect on how they had changed after nine weeks in the Big Brother house.
Flora was subsequently called into the diary room, where she admitted to feeling nervous about the strength of the current lineup.
She also became emotional while discussing Chimsom Chuka’s exit.
Flora named Oyin as the person who had had the biggest impact on her journey and said her main goal for Week Nine was to survive and make it to the finale with her “family.”
Aikou wants to make his final weeks count
Aikou was next in the diary room.
He said he was enjoying his time in the Loft and was relieved that Keivo had not been evicted.
He admitted that Chimsom Chuka’s eviction still affected him, recalling how confident and self-assured Chimsom had been throughout the game.
Aikou also addressed a joke that he felt had been misunderstood while Chimsom was still in the house.
He credited Oyin with having the greatest impact on him, saying she helped him understand the importance of remaining true to himself.
His goal for Week Nine, he said, was to give his best to the wager and make the final stretch of his journey memorable.

Sheba opens up about Chimsom’s exit
Sheba expressed her happiness at making it through another week but admitted that she continued to miss Chimsom Chuka.
She described him as someone whose presence could fill a room and who regularly checked on her emotional well-being.
Sheba said she was shocked by his eviction because she had expected him to reach the finale. She also named him as the housemate who had had the biggest impact on her journey.
Among her proudest moments, Sheba highlighted taking accountability after she disagreed with Tram, learning to control her emotions and her performance in the previous day’s HoH games.
Although she was disappointed not to win, she said her focus for Week Nine was to find the right words to communicate her message and leave a meaningful legacy through the wager.
The kitchen becomes a party zone
The kitchen later became the centre of activity as the housemates cooked, sang and danced.
Oyin danced to the music while Barry joined in, singing along as he washed dishes. Bluethopia soon joined him.
Temi Nkem asked Bluethopia what she was preparing, and Bluethopia revealed she was making fish.
Sheba, Bluethopia and Oyin danced together while Temi Nkem and Barry sang along.
Sheba helped fix Bluethopia’s wig as she washed the fish, while Flora cut potatoes and Temi Nkem shared how she prepares okra.
Sheba also told Bluethopia about her disappointment at losing the HoH challenge and revealed that Biggie had acknowledged how difficult the loss was.
BetPawa wager task
The housemates were later called to the main lounge, where Keivo read the brief for a sponsored task with BetPawa.
The house was divided into two teams:
Team Boosted Odds: Keivo, Tram, Aikou, Ricky and Sheba.
Team 50% Cashback: Barry, Bluethopia, Oyin, Temi Nkem and Flora.
The storeroom was opened, and Keivo distributed the BetPawa merchandise before the housemates changed for the task.
After some final preparations, the housemates moved to the Arena for the competition.
The teams battled through four games, with the final challenge requiring contestants to complete a puzzle.
Aikou and Sheba completed the puzzle for their team, helping Team Boosted Odds secure victory.
The winning team consisted of Aikou, Keivo, Ricky, Sheba, and Tram.
After returning to the house, the housemates discussed their performances while Bluethopia got busy preparing food in the kitchen.
Tram also teased Barry about his team’s defeat.
Wager props and another house game
The storeroom was opened again, with Keivo, Tram and Temi Nkem returning the BetPawa merchandise and collecting the props for the week’s wager.
Sheba was particularly excited about receiving a telephone as her prop, while Tram picked up a speaker and began discussing how he planned to use it for his presentation.
Bluethopia later served food to the housemates, with Sheba and Temi Nkem expressing their appreciation.
However, a playful argument broke out between Flora and Oyin over the food.
Flora accused Oyin of constantly arguing with her whenever she cooked and told Aikou that she felt Oyin was bullying her. Aikou could only laugh at the exchange.
Tram and Sheba later shared a playful moment and hugged, with Sheba telling him she could not wait to see him become a worldwide fashion icon.
“If these walls could talk”
Keivo eventually gathered the housemates in the main lounge for another activity.
Biggie challenged them to imagine what the walls of the house would say if they could talk.
The housemates were instructed to take turns picking prompts from a Lucky Dip Box, reading them aloud and answering them one after another.
Tram went first, speaking about something that had annoyed him. He recalled an incident involving Abi, saying she had made jokes he did not find funny and that he felt one of her comments was hypocritical after he had made a joke.
Sheba followed, recalling an occasion when Bells had hidden food.
Barry spoke about the housemates putting rubbish into an already full dustbin and complained about how dirty the bin could become.
Bluethopia said the walls would probably complain about Tram, while Temi Nkem suggested they might complain about the noise she makes.
Aikou said the walls would likely complain about the housemates’ frequent arguments and how they eventually resolve them.
Ricky raised his frustration over food wastage, saying it was something he disliked.
Flora complained about people constantly asking questions, while Oyin joked that if the walls could talk, they would simply tell the housemates to go home.
Oyin also aimed at the MIPOW race, suggesting that some housemates were washing dishes and relying on their alliances to win. Her comments sparked a back-and-forth with Keivo.
Barry shares a personal story
The activity took a more emotional turn when Barry opened up about his experience entering the Show Ya Sef house.
He revealed that he had not been in a good emotional place before joining the show because one of his friends had died shortly before his arrival.
Barry said he did not have enough time to grieve before entering the house and credited Abi for listening to him and asking questions about what he was going through.
He described his Big Brother experience as therapeutic.
Bluethopia also opened up, revealing that becoming a housemate had been a lifelong dream for her.
Ricky followed by revealing that he had auditioned for the show twice and said entering the Big Brother house had always been part of his plans.
He also reflected on Abi’s influence on his journey, saying she had made an impact on him despite spending only a short time in the house.
