Global music stars Shakira and Burna Boy have continued their impressive run on the international music scene, with their collaborative hit “Dai Dai” spending a fifth consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200.
The song, which also served as the official soundtrack of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, has extended its dominance on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, where it has now remained at the top for eight weeks.
Billboard announced the latest achievement in a post on X, highlighting the song’s continued performance nearly a month after the conclusion of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
“Dai Dai” was performed by Shakira and Burna Boy during the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
According to Billboard, citing data from Luminate, the song recorded 44.1 million streams and 6,000 sales globally between August 7 and 13.

Although its worldwide streams declined by 10 per cent compared with the previous week, sales also fell by nine percent; the song still maintained its position at the top of the chart.
Outside the United States, “Dai Dai” also retained the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, recording 37.8 million streams and 4,000 sales during the same tracking period.
The song is also gaining momentum on American radio, climbing to No. 3 on Billboard’s Rhythmic Airplay chart as the Greatest Gainer.
The latest milestone further highlights the global appeal of the collaboration between the Nigerian Afrobeats star and the Colombian music icon.
