Nigerian forward Peter Olayinka officially begins a new chapter in his career. The flexible 30 year old striker has completed a permanent move to Saudi Pro League outfit Al Wehda on a free transfer.
Olayinka comes to Saudi Arabia after concluding an agreement with Cypriot first division side Apoel Nicosia. The move sees the former Super Eagles further join the growing list of hyper-profile worldwide footballers floating their alternative within the Middle East.

Olayinka’s outpouring to Al Wehda brings with it a brief six-month period of retreat in Cyprus. During his time with Apoel Nicosia, the Nigerian forward made 14 league appearances, making dreams come true as the club went on an aggressive home and European marketing campaign.
Not wanting to extend his stay in Cyprus, Olayinka got rid of his settlement early, so he could take up the lucrative multi-year idea from the maize-based club
