Comedian and content creator Cute Abiola has publicly appealed to fellow entertainer Broda Shaggi, expressing how much he and other members of Nigeria’s content creation industry miss the popular skit maker.
Cute Abiola, popularly known as Lawyer Kunle, made the emotional appeal in a video shared on his Instagram and X pages following the lavish wedding of TikTok stars Peller and Jarvis, held in Lagos on Saturday.
The wedding attracted many of Nigeria’s leading comedians, skit makers and content creators, but Broda Shaggi’s absence was widely noticed.
In the viral video, Cute Abiola congratulated the newlyweds before turning his attention to Broda Shaggi, whose real name is Samuel Perry.
“Brother Shaggi, we miss you. All content creators, we miss you. We miss you. I know you’re not the type that likes this kind of thing, but if you don’t want your flowers, we will give them to you by force,” he said.
He described Broda Shaggi as a key figure in the entertainment industry, praising his energy and influence.
“Shaggi is the life of the party. Anywhere Shaggi steps in, if the energy was 100 before, it’s going to be 200,” he added.

Cute Abiola ended the message with a heartfelt prayer, saying, “Come back soon. God will not shame you. I love you so much.”
The emotional appeal has sparked reactions from fans and fellow entertainers, many of whom also expressed concern over Broda Shaggi’s prolonged absence from the public eye.
The concern follows reports earlier this year that the comedian was allegedly shot in the thigh while filming a skit near Sango-Ota, Ogun State. Although the police said they had no record of such an incident, Broda Shaggi subsequently reduced his public appearances and social media activity.
Despite rumours circulating online, there has been no official confirmation regarding his health or reasons for staying away from the spotlight, while fans continue to hope for his return.
