Telecommunications provider Globacom has introduced a new data offering targeted at customers with high internet consumption, rolling out enhanced bundles under its “More Data More Value” campaign.
The initiative comes as internet usage continues to surge across Nigeria, driven by the growing popularity of video streaming, social media, remote work, online learning and digital business operations.
In a statement issued on Monday, the company said the new packages are designed to give subscribers more data at better value, while reinforcing its competitiveness in Nigeria’s rapidly expanding digital economy.
According to Globacom, the new plans combine daytime and night-time data allocations to accommodate changing user habits and support uninterrupted connectivity throughout the day.
Under the weekly options, subscribers who purchase the N1,000 bundle will receive a total of 3.7GB, consisting of 1.7GB of regular data and an additional 2GB for night-time use. Customers opting for the N2,000 weekly package will get 9GB in total, split into 6.5GB of main data and 2.5GB of night data.
The company also introduced several monthly packages aimed at different categories of users.
The N1,500 monthly plan offers a total of 5.2GB, comprising 2.2GB of regular data and 3GB allocated for night usage. The N2,000 package provides 6.25GB, including 3.25GB main data and 3GB night data.
Subscribers requiring larger allocations can opt for the N5,000 bundle, which comes with 16.5GB in total, made up of 14.5GB of regular data and 2GB for night browsing.
For heavier internet users, Globacom has introduced premium packages that offer significantly larger volumes. The N10,000 bundle provides 42GB, including 38GB main data and 4GB night data, while the N15,000 option delivers a total of 64GB, consisting of 62GB main data and 2GB night data.
The company said the new structure was developed to meet the varying needs of students, entrepreneurs, remote workers and entertainment enthusiasts who depend heavily on mobile internet for daily activities.
Globacom added that the plans would also benefit households and small businesses that rely on mobile hotspots for connectivity, particularly in locations where access to fixed broadband services remains limited.
To simplify access, the company said subscribers can activate and manage their plans through the Glo Café application, which allows users to monitor their data consumption and purchase bundles conveniently.
According to Globacom, the launch of the “More Data More Value” initiative reflects its ongoing commitment to affordability, improved customer experience and expanding digital access as internet consumption continues to grow nationwide.
