Gospel singer Steve Crown and his wife, Ruth Thomas, have welcomed their first child, giving family, friends and fans another reason to celebrate with them.
The singer announced the joyful news on Instagram on Saturday, sharing his excitement and gratitude to God for the gift of their newborn. Alongside the announcement, he posted a touching video of himself and his wife dressed in white, with Ruth seen proudly showing off her baby bump before the baby’s arrival.
Expressing his happiness, Steve Crown described the birth of their child as a blessing beyond words and one that can only be met with thanksgiving.
“Some blessings cannot be explained, they can only be celebrated. Thank You, Jesus, for all You have done. Thank You Jesus for the gift of our baby,” he wrote.
The gospel artiste also used the opportunity to pray for people who are trusting God for children and similar testimonies.
“A new chapter, a new blessing, a new reason to thank God every day. May God bless everyone that desires this beautiful testimony. Amen,” he added.
Steve Crown and Ruth Thomas got married on April 26, 2025, after making their engagement public earlier that month.
