BLord Remanded in Kuje Prison For Allegedly Impersonating VDM

Cryptocurrency entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, has been remanded in prison following allegations that he impersonated controversial social media activist Martins Vincent Otse.

A Federal High Court in Abuja ordered that Blord be held at the Kuje Correctional Centre after he was arraigned on multiple charges linked to impersonation and forgery.

According to details emerging from the case, the allegations stem from claims that Blord falsely presented himself as having an endorsement relationship with VeryDarkMan.

The activist reportedly accused him of forging flight tickets in his name and publicly claiming that he had been paid ₦500 million to serve as a brand ambassador for one of Blord’s technology ventures.

The accusations did not stop there. VeryDarkMan also alleged that promotional materials including billboards and flyers featuring his image were printed and circulated without his consent, suggesting to the public that he had endorsed certain apps and products connected to Blord’s business activities.

Following the court appearance, the judge ordered that Blord be remanded in custody for 26 days while the legal process continues.

The timeline means the entrepreneur will remain behind bars through the Easter period unless new developments arise in the case.

A video reportedly showing Blord being escorted from the court premises to prison has already gone viral online, fueling debate among Nigerians who are closely following the saga.

VeryDarkMan himself has built a reputation as a fearless online activist known for calling out alleged wrongdoing and exposing controversies involving public figures.

Since gaining popularity in 2022, he has become one of Nigeria’s most polarizing internet personalities, attracting millions of followers while frequently finding himself at the center of heated debates.
