Nigeria’s Super Eagles have officially opened camp in Antalya, Turkey, as preparations begin for upcoming international friendlies against Iran and Jordan.
The coaching crew, led by Éric Chelle, alongside team officials, arrived in Istanbul on Tuesday morning and are expected to settle into their Antalya base before noon. Invited players are also scheduled to begin arriving the same day as the squad gradually takes shape.
The team will waste no time getting to work, with their first training session planned for later tonight as they begin fine-tuning tactics and building cohesion ahead of the fixtures.
The Super Eagles will face Iran in their first friendly on Friday, in what is expected to be a strong test for the team. Attention will then shift to their second match against Jordan, scheduled for next Tuesday, also in Antalya.
Both fixtures offer Chelle an opportunity to assess his squad, experiment with combinations, and strengthen the team ahead of future competitive engagements.
