Group Promote Learning with 3,000 Exercise Books Donation in Rivers School

As part of efforts to encourage learning, a group has donated over 3,000 exercise books to students at Government Vocational Junior Secondary School, Elele Alimini, in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The donation by the Niger Delta Media Practitioners of Nigeria NDMPN, was carried out in partnership with McKay Hotel and Resorts, on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.

The gesture, according to the Deputy Board of Trustees Chairman, Mr Kennedy Wedeh, was in fulfillment of its corporate social responsibility.

Wedeh revealed that the distribution was, “part of our effort to encourage the education of the younger generation in the region.

“In collaboration with the MCkay Hotel Resorts, we distributed over three thousand free exercise books at Government Vocational Junior secondary school in Elele Alimini, Emohua local government area of Rivers state.

“The gesture was in fulfilment of our corporate social responsibility projects targeted at the younger generation.”

He noted that “we have made several distributions across secondary and primary schools in the State in collaborations with public spirited individuals and corporate organizations.

“Considering the high cost of living, we decided to show our little support through this provisions so as to touch the lives of the younger generation and encourage them.”
