Bayelsa Lawmaker Extols Diri Over Road Project Approval

The representative of Sagbama Constituency 3 in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Mrs. Ebizi Ndiomu-Brown, has applauded Governor Douye Diri for approving the Agbere–Abuetor–Osifo–Osekwenike–Asamabiri–Elemebiri Road project.

The project received formal approval during the 176th State Executive Council meeting held at Government House, Yenagoa.

Ndiomu-Brown described the decision as a clear reflection of the governor’s sincerity, responsiveness, and dedication to inclusive development.

She highlighted the governor’s recent visit to riverine communities in the area, an event she described as historic, noting that no sitting governor had visited the region in more than 25 years.

During the visit, Diri reaffirmed his commitment to improving access and driving development across the constituency.

“As the representative of the wonderful people of Sagbama Constituency 3, I sincerely appreciate His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, for the gracious approval of the Agbere–Abuetor–Osifo–Osekwenike–Asamabiri–Elemebiri Road Project.”

Ndiomu-Brown praised the governor as a “silent achiever” whose actions consistently match his promises. She also recalled her sustained advocacy for the road project, particularly during the governor’s post-election ‘Thank You Tour’ to Sagbama Local Government Area.
