The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has joined Muslims across Nigeria in celebrating Eid-ul-Maulud, the commemoration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In a message released through the agency’s Director of Communication and Media, Bala Musa, the Director General of NOA, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, congratulated the Muslim community and encouraged reflection on the Prophet’s exemplary life.
He emphasized the importance of forgiveness, compassion, and living in accordance with the Prophet’s teachings as a path to peace and moral integrity.
Issa-Onilu highlighted the values embodied by Prophet Muhammad—such as unity, tolerance, and love for humanity—as essential traits that all Nigerians should adopt, especially during times of national challenges. He stressed that these principles can serve as building blocks for harmony and social cohesion.
