Improved Welfare for Elderly, Orphans: Government’s New Priority

The need for Government at all levels to be more proactive in enhancing the welfare of elderly people and orphans in the country has been emphasized.

He said the visit was part of activities to kickoff their 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) holding in Rivers State.

“I am calling on the government to be involved in taking care of the elderly, even the motherless children’s home, the government involvement would tackle the paucity of funds currently facing them.”

Air Commodore Odun-Ayo Rtd, said they are also concerned about the senior citizens in the country and need to support them.
