Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Central Installs 39th President, Unveils Community Service Projects

Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Central has inaugurated its 39th President, Rotarian Blakk Ipalibo, in a colourful ceremony well attended by members.‎‎The event, which marked the induction of the Club’s New Board of Directors also witnessed the unveiling of its community service projects for the 2025/2026 Rotary year.‎

In a colorful and vibrant ceremony, the Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Central has inaugurated Rotarian Blakk Ipalibo as its 39th President, ushering in a new era of service and community development.

‎‎Speaking at the ceremony, the immediate past president, Mrs Ifunaya Bertrand, expressed gratitude to members of the club and sponsors for their unwavering support during her tenure.‎‎

She offered words of encouragement to her successor, urging him to remain focused and identify communities in need of assistance.‎

The 39th President of Port Harcourt Central, Rotarian Blakk Ipalibo, in his remarks, expressed gratitude for the honour bestowed upon him and outlined several key projects that the Club aims to accomplish during his tenure.

‎‎The Chairman of the Installation Committee, Rotarian Emmanuel Dike, encouraged Club members to rally behind the new president and offer their support to ensure he has a successful and impactful term.‎‎

The club, which had earlier conducted a medical outreach at the venue of the inauguration ceremony, had some of the beneficiaries applauding the timing of the medical outreach.‎

The installation ceremony, which sets the tone for a positive year for the Club’s activities in the upcoming year, also witnessed the presentation of awards, fundraising for the club project, induction of club officers and induction of new members.‎
