Igwuruta Peace Carnival Crowns New Miss

A radiant new queen has been crowned in Rivers State. The vibrant Igwuruta Peace Carnival Beauty Pageant has officially named Opurum Goodnews Nkiruka as its 2025 royal ambassador, capping off a dazzling display of culture and community spirit.

The affair was a full-fledged cultural showcase that brought the community together. Opurum Goodnews Nkiruka, who entered the stage representing Omuodukwu as Miss Omuodukwo, emerged victorious, winning over the crowd and judges to clinch the coveted title of Miss Igwuruta.

The pageant proved to be a spectacular celebration of local heritage, showing the unique identity of the Igwuruta people. Attendees were treated to a dynamic show where stunning traditional fashion, captivating dance routines, and powerful performances took center stage, each element telling a story of the region’s rich history and vibrant future.
