Port Harcourt Set to Host Centrum Film Summit 2025

The creative pulse of South-South Nigeria is about to hit a new high as the Centrum Film Summit prepares to take centre stage in Port Harcourt. Slated for September 12th & 13th, 2025, at the Theatre Hall, Azny Event Centre, the highly anticipated summit promises to be the biggest film and creative industry gathering in the region.

From filmmakers to digital creators, entertainment lawyers to content entrepreneurs, Centrum Film Summit is set to host some of the most impressive and influential voices shaping Africa’s creative ecosystem.

Attendees are told to expect a lineup of insightful panel discussions, groundbreaking conversations, and business-driven masterclasses designed to unlock the power of storytelling and innovation.

At the heart of the summit is a new partnership with Kobaba Jornsen Production, a top film company and entertainment law firm committed to the growth of African cinema and the creative industry. This collaboration reflects Centrum’s mission to go beyond art and shine a spotlight on the business side of creativity.

Key speakers include Faith Abassah, Director and OAP, who will share expert strategies on financial literacy for creatives, teaching participants how to monetize creativity by turning passion into profit, manage finances and make smart investment decisions, build a sustainable career in the creative industry.

Also joining the lineup is Dokubo Hilda, who will take the stage to spotlight Rivers State as Nigeria’s next big hub for film and digital content creation, highlighting opportunities for local and global impact.
