63 Brigade wins 6 Division Inter-Brigade Swimming Competition

The 6 Division Inter-Brigade Swimming Competition 2025 has ended with
63 Brigade emerging winner of the competition. The event, which was organized by the 6 Division Garrison at the Port Harcourt Barracks, had participants drawn from four formations, namely, 2 Brigade, 16 Brigade, 63 Brigade, and 6 Division Garrison.

63 Brigade came top in the keenly contested swimming competition with 14 gold, 3 Silver and 7 Bronze medals while 16 Brigade took second with 4 gold, 8 Silver and 6 Bronze medals. The host, 6 Division Garrison had 4 gold, 5 Silver and 7 Bronze medals to secure the third position.

General Officer Commanding, GOC, 6 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Emmanuel Eric-Emekah commended the participants for the high level of competence, dedication and sportsmanship displayed during the competition.

The GOC represented by the Chief of Staff, 6 Division Headquarters, Brigadier General Emmanuel Adamu congratulated the winners of the competition for their outstanding performance. The event featured the presentation of medals and trophy to the winners.
