Philanthropist Kick Starts Outreach to Empower Asari-Toru LGA

Hon. Seineri Onengiyeofori George has embarked on an outreach program aimed at empowering the people of the Asari-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State. The former Accord Party Councillorship Candidate in the last ASALGA Ward One local government election said the empowerment was for all Asalgans, in respective of their religions and political affiliations.

The empowerment, which ranged from mentorship training to economic incentives, was organized by the Life Coaching Community, Asari-Toru District, where Seineri serves as director. Shortly after the outreach, the philanthropist told our correspondent that the program was tagged “Common Grounds,” adding that it was aimed at reuniting and enriching the people of the area.

He emphasized the need for mutual respect and understanding among Asalgans, urging them to build a united front for the common good of development and growth.

The ASALGA born politician further added that as a community, whose audience cuts across both religious and party lines, “we will continue to remain dedicated in our pursuit for a better tomorrow,” saying that, “We will embrace those who are right thinking and shun those who practice evil.”


Our correspondent reports that the outreach was programmed to capture the 13 wards of the district to ensure that every ward of the LGA benefits from the program. Each season the outreach commences, the people of the area usually smile home with cash and other economic gifts and it is opened for the elderly and youths and it is gender friendly.

In their responses, the beneficiaries of the programme thanked the director, Hon Seineri for spending his hard earned resources for the lifting of the people of ASALGA, praying God to bless him with long life and prosperity.
