Port Harcourt Gets New Waste Management Head Amidst Illegal Dumping Crisis

Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria – In a move aimed at revitalizing waste management efforts across the state, the Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral (Rtd) Ebok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, has approved the appointment of Engr. Samuel Nwanosike as the new Sole Administrator of the Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA).

The announcement, made official earlier today, signals a renewed focus on addressing the persistent challenges of waste disposal and environmental sanitation within Rivers State. Engr. Nwanosike is expected to bring his expertise and leadership to the crucial agency.
