Chidi Lloyd, the chairman of Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, has placed a bounty of N1 million on one Onuigwe Nwodi, a suspected cult leader alleged to be involved in the killing of police officers, kidnapping and armed robbery along the Emohua axis of the East-West road.

Lloyd also declared Nwodi wanted dead or alive.

In April, a clash in the Elibrada community in the local government left two persons dead.

The clash was between the Debam and Iceland cult groups, with sourcing saying members of the Debam cult group entered the community in search of Nwodi Onuigwe, who had been terrorizing the Emohua section of the East-West road, which resulted in a shootout between members of the two rival cult groups in the community.

It was also gathered that Mr Charles Amadi was shot dead by Wodi and his men, who were dressed in a uniform that looked like that of the Civil Defense, for allegedly giving information about their activities to members of the Debam cult group.

Lloyd, in a broadcast on Monday, declared Nwodi wanted on the radio for the death of Police officers, kidnapping and sundry crimes in the area.
