The Civil Liberty Organisation has called for a revolution by removing all the partisan officials of the country’s institutions, a complete overhauling of the institutions as well as the laws establishing the institutions.

The CLO listed the institutions that should be hit by revolution to include: CBN, INEC, Police and DSS among others.

The CLO Chairman in Rivers State, Clifford Solomon who made this known to our correspondent insisted that no institution in Nigeria as of today is safe to keep sensitive election materials.

You recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission had assured Nigerians that it will no longer keep sensitive election materials in CBN.

The decision of INEC may not have been unconnected with the partisan politics of the apex bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele.

The Central Bank Governor had indicated interest to contest for the presidency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress as a registered member of the APC.

Solomon said, “no where is safe to keep sensitive election materials in this country.

“The best thing to do is to revolutionize all the institutions of government in this country by removing the partisan officials, overhauling the institutions as well as repealing and re-enacting the laws that establish the institutions.”

The civil rights group also berated the political leaders of the country, accusing them of plunging the country into extreme poverty and economic backwardness.

The group said Nigeria has lost its respect and place among the committee of nations because of a group of selfish political leaders that are ruling the country.
