Lady calls for justice after Rivers Police officer threw hot stove on her

Miss Jane Amos, the lady who was left scalded after a police officer allegedly threw a burning stove on her has asked the state Commissioner of Police, Eboka Friday to ensure that she gets justice.

According to her, she is under pressure from different groups to abandon the case.

Miss Amos was left with severe burns on her skin after her neighbour, a police officer threw a burning stove on her for allegedly refusing his love advances.

In a chat with journalists over the weekend, shortly after she was discharged from the hospital, the survivor said she would resist attempts seeking to prevent her from getting justice.

The lady maintained that the case is that of attempted murder and pleaded with CP Eboka to ensure a thorough investigation is carried out.

She noted that her being alive is a miracle, calling on well-meaning Nigerians to help her to get justice.
