The Rivers State Ministry of Education has disclosed that the deadline for submission of forms for interested candidates for the 2021 National Examination Council (NECO) takes effect on Monday, 26th April 2021.
In a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Sir Chidi Adiele, Parents, Guardians, Principals of Government Senior Secondary Schools as well as other stakeholders are advised to take note and proper action to avoid any form of disappointment.
To this end, Principals, who are yet to submit names of candidates from their schools, must do so latest 4 pm, Monday, 26th April 2021.
He added that submissions must be made only in the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry and Principals must ensure entry in a Register of submissions there.
“For the avoidance of doubts, Principals who do not submit the names of interested candidates in their schools before the deadline would be construed as saying that they have no interested candidates and cannot make any submission after the final deadline.” he said.
