As the Rivers State Government plans to kick-start processes for a successful local government election next year, the chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area, Samuel Nwanosike, has been endorsed for second term by his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) family of Ward 4 Elele.

TPCN gathered that members of the ward unanimously took the decision to endorse Nwanosike during their party’s meeting at its secretariat along Ahoada road, Elele, Monday.

According to them, the Ikwerre LG Chairman has performed excellently given his proactive approach to people-oriented governance and distribution of democratic dividends in the form of projects to every ward in the LGA.

Chairman of the ward, Benson Enyindah, in his speech, listed some of the achievements of Sam Nwanosike as human capital development, human empowerment, upgrading of the council secretariat and citing of meaningful projects all over the LGA.

Secretary of the ward, Amadi Emmanuel, corroborated Benson Eyindah’s position by describing the Ikwerre chairman’s exploits as commendable, assuring that he (Nwanosike) would sustain his excellent performance if supported for a second term in office.

Deputy Leader of Ikwerre Legislative Assembly, Amadi Jacob Amadi, also a member of the ward, supported the call for Nwanosike to return for a second term.

Moving a vote of confidence on the Ikwerre LG boss, the KELGA lawmaker lauded him for his giant developmental strides and pleaded with him to make himself available for a second term journey.

Also lending his own voice, Nwanosike’s principal secretary, Innocent Worusah, showered encomiums on him, adding that members of the ward would be better off if he gets another term.
