Reverend father slumps, dies during mass in Rivers state

Saint Helen catholic church Ogbogoro Obio-Akpor Local government area of Rivers state was thrown into painful turmoil as the presiding Reverend slumped and died inside the church.

The Reverend Father Cyprian Kooro was said to have died on Sunday.

It was gathered that he slumped while performing the homily and was immediately rushed to University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH) where he was pronounced dead.

It was gathered that the whole church was thrown into panic as they rallied around their beloved father before taking him to the hospital.

As of the time of filing this report, the cause of his death is still unknown.

It was also not clear if the Reverend father was suffering from terminal illness of any sort.
