The CP urged DPOs to ensure that actions capable of dragging down the image of the command are abolished especially by men and officers within their command.

“We are in the era of social media. Good or bad people are watching you. The command is grappling with ensuring that the Ikokwu saga is well managed and we would not entertain anything that would further drag down the image of the Rivers State Police command”

Dandaura urged the DPOs immediately to commence training of officers in their various divisions so as to discharge their duties professionally, adding that “After this, lecture you have received here, go back to various divisions and formations and ensure you pass down the message.

“You saw the viral picture where police officers engaged in free for all fights and the ones extorting money from the public? This is very shameful and I would not condone such act within this command”
