On Tuesday, March 24, 2026, the Rivers State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Peter Nwagor, inspected the ongoing renovation project at Bonny National Grammar School, Bonny Local Government Area of the state.
This is part of the state government’s wider effort to revitalize the education sector and promote academic excellence. Bonny National Grammar School is presently undergoing major rehabilitation and remodeling works.
Nwagor revealed during the inspection that the project assessment tour was part of the state government’s ongoing commitment to improve educational infrastructure.

Accompanied by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Azibaolanari Uzoma-Nwogu, the education commissioner expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far on the rehabilitation and remodeling of the school.
His words, “today I led an inspection team to Bonny National Grammar School in Bonny Local Government Area as part of the State Government’s ongoing commitment to improving educational infrastructure.
“We have assessed the progress of ongoing rehabilitation and remodelling works at the institution.
“The state government is determined to provide a conducive learning environment for students and to ensure that all ongoing projects meet the required standards and are delivered within schedule.”
