Onunu Festival 2025 Successfully Celebrates Culture

Port Harcourt came alive on the 7th of December as the much-anticipated Onunu Festival 2025 unfolded in grand cultural splendour. The event, held in the heart of the city, became a vibrant celebration of heritage, food, rhythm, and unity — leaving attendees with memories that will linger for a long time.

The festival grounds transformed into a cultural playground, rich with the aroma of local delicacies and the echo of traditional music. Dancers, drummers, chanters, and cultural performers filled the atmosphere with colours and sounds that reflected the soul of Rivers people.

One of the most captivating highlights of the night was the performance by Sophyn, whose voice and presence dominated the Dances, Chants & Rhythm stage. Her energy, vocal strength, and deep cultural expression kept the crowd cheering long after she left the stage. Many described her appearance as one of the evening’s defining moments.

The festival’s excitement soared even higher when Victorious DBigFathype took over as the official hypeman giving the vibes and aura.
