NUJ River State Council Inaugurates News Writers Chapel with a Charge on Professionalism

The Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Rivers State Council led by Comrade Paul Bazia -Nsaneh has inaugurated the News Writer chapel urging them to be professional in their reportage.

Comrade Bazia-Nsaneh said the News Writer chapel has set a pace in fulfilling the constitutional provisions. “They showed strength during the revalidation exercise, came out in their numbers and also paid professional fees” he said.

The Chairman said the Council under his watch will ensure that chapels conduct their elections and urged chapels who are yet to conduct their elections to do so.

Comrade Bazia -Nsaneh recalled that during the last National election of NUJ the delegates from Rivers State were reduced due to reduction of chapels from the last revalidation of chapels exercise where some chapels were not able to participate, a situation he described as worrisome.
