‎Super Eagles Striker Boniface Set to Join AC Milan

‎According to a recent report, it is stated that Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface is close to departing Bayer Leverkusen to sign with AC Milan.

‎The German club has received an official offer from the Serie A giants for the Nigerian international and is currently evaluating the proposal, according to various reports today.

‎Both Sky Sport Germany and Sky Sport Italia reported the news, with European transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also providing coverage on the matter.

‎The German source mentioned that Boniface has already reached an agreement on personal terms with AC Milan and is merely awaiting the go-ahead to join the Rossoneri.

‎Multiple outlets have also noted that Milan has renewed their interest in Boniface, especially since negotiations for Rasmus Hojlund are complicated by the Manchester United forward’s desire for a permanent transfer.

‎Milan is thought to still be in discussions with Hojlund and has even dispatched an intermediary to London to negotiate with the striker’s father.

‎However, should they be unable to convince the former Atalanta player, they will pursue Boniface vigorously.

‎The 25-year-old Boniface transferred to Bayer Leverkusen from Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium for approximately €23 million in July 2023 and has recorded 32 goals and 12 assists in 61 matches for the German club, contributing to their first-ever Bundesliga title in 2024.
