Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has gifted his wife Chioma Rowland a stunning diamond-encrusted Richard Mille wristwatch valued at $300,000 during their white wedding ceremony in Miami, United States, on Sunday.

The luxury timepiece marks the second Richard Mille Davido has given Chioma, following a similar gift alongside Birkin bags for her birthday in 2023.

The Miami celebration was the final chapter in the couple’s wedding journey, which began with a court wedding in March 2023, followed by a traditional ceremony in Lagos in June 2024.

“I have to give my wife the Richard Mille wristwatch valued at $300,000. This is just one of the gifts,” Davido reportedly said during the presentation.

Videos from the event show Chioma beaming with excitement as the watch was adorned on her wrist, with cheers erupting from guests in attendance.

“Chioma, I have been on many stages, but this is the most nervous I’ve ever been. You are my love, my peace, my home,” he said.
“You saw the real me the me the world doesn’t see, and you still chose me.”

The couple’s union, affectionately dubbed #CHIVIDO, continues to be one of the most celebrated love stories in Nigerian entertainment.
