On Tuesday evening, Nigeria Super Falcons progressed to the finals of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) following their impressive 2-1 victory over South Africa.

The First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar have extended their congratulations, expressing pride and optimism for the team’s chances in the upcoming final.
Mrs Tinubu lauded the Super Falcons, describing their performance as a powerful testament to the ‘strength, courage, and brilliance of Nigerian women.’
She highlighted the team’s passion, discipline, and unity on the field as an inspiring example for young girls nationwide, demonstrating that ‘nothing good is beyond reach.’
