Ayansewa Adedeji, a highly accomplished library professional, has been appointed co-chair of the Information Literacy Committee at the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL), a division of the American Library Association (ALA). This two-year appointment, which runs from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2027, is a testament to Adedeji’s exceptional leadership skills and contributions to the library profession.
With a wealth of experience spanning seven years, Adedeji has established himself as a leader in library services. His previous roles include heading the libraries at Government College, Ibadan, and Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu, in Osun State, Nigeria.
