Barcelona Targets Super Eagles Star Ademola Lookman

FC Barcelona targets the Super Eagles star to join them. They have reportedly added Nigerian international and Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman to their list of potential summer signings as they continue their search for a new left winger.

The Spanish giant has already been linked with Liverpool’s Luis Díaz and Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford, but financial limitations appear to be hindering their ability to secure high-profile targets.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool has made it clear that they will not entertain any low bids for Díaz, who could be on his way out of Anfield this summer after helping the Reds clinch the 2024/2025 Premier League title.

Meanwhile, Catalunya Ràdio reports that Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has identified Lookman, 27, as a realistic alternative. The Atalanta attacker had previously been linked with the Catalan club earlier in the year and is now considered a more attainable option.

Lookman joined Atalanta in 2022 on a deal set to run until the summer of 2026. While his exact market value remains uncertain, estimates range between €30 million and €60 million.

Several Premier League clubs are also reportedly monitoring Lookman ahead of the summer transfer window.
