Renowned gospel singer Bolaji Olanrewaju, widely known as Big Bolaji, was laid to rest at All Souls Private Cemetery in Ido, Ibadan. The beloved musician passed away on April 19 at the age of 50 after battling a brief illness.
The burial proceedings commenced on Wednesday, drawing family members, close friends, and notable figures in the gospel music industry to honor the late artist.

The farewell events began with a lying-in-state and memorial service held at the Hall of Grace, Jogor Centre.
Among the attendees were prominent gospel artists such as Tosin Bee, Mike Abdul, Bidemi Olaoba, and Yetunde Are, alongside popular comedian Woli Agba and other mourners who came to bid their final farewells.
Following the memorial service, a funeral procession made its way to All Souls Private Cemetery. At the graveside, Big Bolaji’s wife, siblings, and other loved ones gathered to pay their last respects to the departed gospel icon.
