The couple, who had a star-studded traditional ceremony at Eko Hotels in Lagos in June 2024, will hold their white wedding in Miami in August 2025, the singer confirmed during a recent interview on The Breakfast Club.

“Our traditional marriage shut down Nigeria because our relationship was in the public eye, and a lot has happened, apart from losing our child,” Davido said, referencing the highly publicized nature of their relationship and past personal challenges.

In the same candid interview, Davido addressed his controversial romantic history, including infidelity and fathering five children with four different women. He now pledges a new chapter of fidelity and family focus.

“I said I’m not cheating again. I no dey cheat again. Cheating comes with lots of problems,” he declared. “I can’t have another wife.”

Davido, who remains one of Africa’s biggest music exports, says he is now navigating fame and personal life with more maturity and clarity. His marriage to Chioma marks a new phase of growth, both personally and professionally.
