Professor Good Wilson Denies Kidnapping Allegations in Egbolom community

The Dean, College of Post Graduate School at the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Professor Good Wilson, has debunked an allegation that he was involved in an attempted kidnapping of the paramount ruler of the Egbolom community and the CDC Chairman of the community in the Abua-Odual local government area of Rivers State.

The Youth President of Egbolom, Mr. Godspower Frank, had earlier accused Dr. Mike Ogidim, Professor Good Wilson, Professor Ibeganor Otarakor, Ella Sunday, and Monday Onwubiko of masterminding the attempted kidnapping of some individuals in the community on March 24th this year.

Speaking with our correspondent on behalf of the other accused persons, Professor Good Wilson, who denied knowledge or their involvement in the alleged kidnap attempt, explained that the accused persons are members of Egbolom Progressive Union, who are only interested in the development of the community.

Also speaking, Mr. Aselemi Wilson said his father could not dent his reputation by getting involved in any attempted kidnapping and emphasized that Professor Wilson would take legal action against Mr. Godspower Frank if he failed to retract the allegation and apologize within seven days.

Some men dressed in coveralls were alleged to have invaded the Egbolom community on March 24 this year and attempted to kidnap the paramount ruler and some indigenes of the community.
