Ahead of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination UTME, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board JAMB has encouraged candidates to reprint their examination slips.
This is coming as JAMB announced that the reprinting of the 2025 UTME examination slips would begin on April 17, 2025.
According to JAMB, the reprint is a mandatory step for all UTME candidates, as the slip contains essential details such as the examination date, time, and venue.
The examination board also revealed that the main UTME has been scheduled to kick off on April 25, 2025.
JAMB urged all candidates to reprint their slips as soon as possible to avoid any inconveniences.
Also, guidelines on how candidates can reprint their JAMB UTME examination slips were made available.
JAMB revealed that “reprinting your JAMB exam slip is a straightforward process. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you: 1. visit the official JAMB examination slip printing portal at https://slipsprinting.jamb.gov.ng/PrintExaminationSlip.
“2. Enter your JAMB registration number, email address, or GSM number used during registration.
“3. Click on “Print Examination Slip” to generate your exam details.
“4. Print multiple copies and keep them safe for reference.
“Pro Tip: Double-check all the details on your slip, including your name, exam center, date, and time. If you spot any errors, contact JAMB support immediately for corrections.”
Explaining why the exam slip was very important, JAMB stated, “The exam slip is not just a piece of paper, it’s your golden ticket to the exam hall.
“Without it, you won’t be allowed to sit for the UTME. It contains the exact date and time of your UTME, your designated exam center assigned by JAMB, and personal details to confirm your registration.”
Further, candidates were encouraged to, “arrive early at your designated CBT center to avoid delays. Bring only your JAMB examination slip and a valid means of identification.
“Prohibited items such as mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, and bags are not allowed. Follow all instructions given by JAMB officials and invigilators.
“JAMB has made it clear that candidates caught violating these rules may face disqualification. So, play by the rules and focus on acing your exam.
“JAMB will continue to provide updates, so stay informed, follow the rules, and ensure you’re fully prepared for the big day. Remember, success favors the prepared, so get that slip printed, review your notes, and walk into that exam hall with confidence! “
