Actress Accuses Frederick Leonard Of Mistreating Crew, Faces Block

Nollywood actress and producer Etinosa Idemudia has publicly criticized her colleague, Frederick Leonard, after he blocked her on Instagram over a comment she made about his behavior on film sets.

The controversy began when Leonard shared a video from a movie set, praising his crew members for their enthusiasm and professionalism. In response, Etinosa commented on the post, highlighting what she saw as irony in his words. She alleged that while he motivates his own crew, he mistreats crew members when working on other productions.

“You dey ginger your crew but go to other person’s set to traumatize their crew. Is it good?” she wrote.

Leonard had captioned the video with excitement about his ongoing project, urging fans to stay tuned for his upcoming works in 2025. However, after Etinosa’s comment, she revealed that he took offense and blocked her on Instagram.

Expressing her frustration, Etinosa accused Leonard of avoiding the real issue instead of addressing her concerns privately. She suggested that her remark must have hit a nerve because it was true, emphasizing that many crew members prefer not to work with him due to his alleged mistreatment.

“Thunder fire you. Block me so you can sleep at night, but you cannot block the voice in your head telling you the truth. The truth is bitter,” she wrote.

She went further to accuse Leonard of making videos to appear compassionate while, in reality, allegedly treating crew members poorly. She claimed that the mistreatment of crew members is a common issue in the Nollywood industry.

Despite her strong words, Etinosa later acknowledged that her mother often warns her about the way she jokes. She apologized to Leonard, referring to him as her “big brother and former friend,” but admitted that the incident deeply hurt her.
