Popular Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has shared the reasons behind her extended hiatus from the film industry. Taking her Instagram on Friday, the seasoned actress explained that her break was essential for relaxation, reflection, and recharging.

Having started her acting career at the tender age of 15, Omotola emphasized that the relentless pace of her career necessitated time off to rejuvenate her creative spirit. She highlighted the importance of taking breaks to maintain her passion and energy for her craft.

Omotola wrote, “I know many never understand why I take time off movies for a few years, then come back and do it again! Lol… I see fans asking when I’ll be back on screens, but when you’ve been working since you were 15, like I have… You’ll do good to Relax, Relive, Relearn and Recharge.
